1.37 Million Vehicles may have defects from Honda, Toyota, and Ford.
I find it interesting that such big companies make these mistakes with the vehicles they make.
This also seems like a recurring issue with current vehicles, I find it a little ridiculous.

Toyota had brake issues a couple years back, so this doesn't surprise me.

That would suck if your brakes randomly went out. And then you crashed.

That's what I was thinking of when I said this is a recurring issue, you would think that they wouldn't make the same mistakes, especially with something that can lead to deaths.

This actually happened to be like a week ago.
My sister had drop off her son to the movies and I went along because of shit like this.
You know the ramps that lead you out to a street. Well my sister was just waiting for traffic to pass by and when all of the sudden
BANG!! From the front of the car and we started rolling forward were there was oncoming traffic.
Luckily, my sister reacted quickly and did 90 degree turned. But if it wasn't because there was only a little bit of traffic.
My sister, her baby who was also on board, and myself would have been dead.
That was a hell of a ride back home since my sister had to break like 20 feet behind any car that was at a traffic stop.
AND it was a Toyota...

Just goes to show what kind of company Toyota is, untrustworthy.
I'm glad everything turned out okay for you.
