According to your profile you are 14, the age I was in 8th grade. What do you know about society and politics other than what mommy and daddy think? Most presidents have served their country and want to take a larger part in the stake of our country, the others that haven't served were senators/governors/representatives making barely any money and working their asses off in state/district governments. Third, the president makes ~400k a year which is taxed this salary is as much as a doctor makes not a fortune 500 CEO.

How do you expect to be proud of a nation that was founded upon a genocide of a whole race of people, this country was doomed from the start.

I 100% agree. Most of america just leech off of someone or something, like the government. I see people standing on the side of the road holding a sign saying that their poor, while smoking a cigarette and wearing a $200 pair of sunglasses. Seriously?! Work for your money!

Actually I'm in 9th grade but I'll give you that one it's close enough. And actually no, me and my dad get into debates once in a while. I have complete opposite views of him. Oh Representative don't make a lot of money? $174,000 a year is a lot of money. Especially in these days with a lot of people make that much is double or triple the time. So it seems you and your classes in college have a very little idea in what they are talking about. And if the congress works so hard then why isn't this economy fixed and the parties haven't budged on their stand? And want to argue about the salaries.
