If it is supposed to say "Jd" non artists may not catch it, i would recommend putting the actual name under it or in it some how. Then use your logo as a branded stamp.

Hey, I want to help you with a correction.
for your logo with the gradient, take the gradient overlay off of it, create a new shape (circle) that covers the entire logo and place a gradient map inside of that, then create a clipping mask for it to cover the actual logo layer, then create a copy of the gradient and create another clipping mask for the square that has the gradient that is un-congruent to the rest of the gradient map.
