I'm looking to buy a good recorder. One that gets lots of frames at 1080p....
However I'd like to keep it under 100$$$...
Can anyone help me out? And if you do provide a good one, can you show me a video please?
And thanks in advance.

The only way you can get 1080 is on a HD PVR (Happauge reccomended)

if you are talking about a cap card you are not going to find any ones amazing for under $100, sorry to tell you. Well at least not that I know of, I believe dazzle sells an HD cap card for a price (I do not know the price though). If you want to get the best of the best can't go wrong with an HD PVR. they can record in 1080p, heres a link to one of my test videos of my pvr in 1080

Alright. I now understand 1080 is way out of the question. But if I get one that recordes in like 720, Do i have to play on 720?
And i tried google, I was lost with all the stuff. I had search overload syndrome. If you've ever seen that commercial.
And Yes, I am talking about a capture card.
