Well,
#1: I do believe in god or some type of afterlife.
#2: Noone could be absolutely sure when the world will come to an end.
#3: Look at the December 21st 2012 scare. So many people believed in it (I am one who did) But nothing happened.
Noone is positive if the Bible itself is real. Noone is positive when the "world will end"
We are so far into technology already that we would have scientifically pinpointed an "end-time"
Im not Atheist or anything but i dont really believe in some type of "end" after 2012.
I think if the world itself comes to an "end" we will already have the technology to just move to another planet or something of the sort.
I dont believe in it. But as i dont believe in it, i still hope the "end" is not near.

1. False Bible teachers would be money hungry (2 Peter 2:1-3) News 1970 - Now
Since the original Bible formed at Nicea, every different version has been false and the Church has always asked for donations and enforced the view that you are immoral if you don't donate.
This has been going on for around 2000 years now.
2. Homosexuality would be increasingly evident (2 Timothy 3:3) Look around 1990 - Now
Homosexuality has always been increasingly evident, we have been progressing and becoming more accepting of homosexuality since before Jesus died. Just because this trend is continuing doesn't mean we're close to the end.
3. Earthquakes (Matthew 24:7) Read the News from 2001 - 2011
There have always been Earthquakes, the media revolution just means we hear about them more.
4. Stress (2 Timothy 3:1) The financial depression causes this
1920's-40's. Nuff said.
5. Many wars (Matthew 24:6) Read the News from 2001 - Now
There have always been lots of wars going on around the world, just if they don't affect western civilization we tend not to learn about them.
6. Forsake the Ten Commandments (Matthew 24:12) The Public
No, people still know it's wrong not to kill, steal, commit adultery and the Religious population still overwhelms the atheist population.
7. Cold Religious System (2 Timothy 3:5) Religion bashers and satinists (2000 - Now)
There have always been Religious basher's and satanists, just because your religion can't burn and kill them now doesn't mean there's any more or less.
8. Substitute fantasy in place of Christian truth (2 Timothy 4:4) Christmas being more towards "Santa" than Jesus (1990 - Now)
That's horse manure. Religious displays of the nativity are put up in most major town squares and plays are held in the halls every year. Hymns are played on the Radio at Christmas and there is still a Christmas service held at most Churches which are always packed out [Where I live anyway].
9. Deadly diseases would be prevalent (Matthew 24:7) AIDS increase, Cancer increase (1980 - Now)
No. We just hear about them more because of the media. They have always been prevalent diseases, maybe more so in the past because of lack of hygiene.
Please tell me why the end of the world didn't occur during the Bubonic plague which wiped out 75,000,000 people in Europe, if we're going by this logic and reasoning.
10. The institution of marriage would be forsaken (1 Timothy 4:3) Gay marriage legalization (2004 - Now)
True, people are wising up.
11. Increase in vegetarianism (1 Timothy 4:3-4) Go to Wal-Mart in Nashville (2000 - Now)
I know no vegetarians. I'm pretty sure that's a chart that fluctuates over time though.
It will increase and decrease all the time.
12. Cry for peace (1 Thessalonians 5:3) Obama pleading with anti-America countries (2007 - Now)
Your example is invalid. The Bible didn't predict or apply to America only.
This action could be seen from many different points of view.
13. Knowledge will increase (Daniel 12:4) Anywhere you see, people think their brilliant (2004 or so - Now)
Your example doesn't fit the description.
Knowledge is increasing, yes. It always has and always will increase. Why didn't the end of the world occur during the Industrial revolution, by this logic...
14. Hypocrites within the Church (Matthew 13:25-30) Vow not to do evil, do it anyways, and endorse it as well (2003 or so - Now)
Once again, this has always happened within the Church the media has just made it more obvious.
15. Future will seem fearful (Luke 21:26) I am honestly for the first time scared about the future events that are sure to come (2011 - Now)
The future has always been fearful. There are films from 1910 in which people describe being terrified of the future, the new war machines and the 'Unsinkable ship'. Accounts from hundreds of years ago describe uncertainty and fearfulness of the future, this is not a new phenomenon.
16. Humanity will become more materialistic (2 Timothy 3:4) Overuse of technology (2005 - Now)
17. Many involved in travel (Daniel 12:4) Mass American immigrants from Mexico and the U.K. (2007 or so - Now)
1870-1930. Mass immigration into america and the introduction of new technology, why didn't this apply then?
18. Youth would become rebellious (2 Timothy 3:2) Everyone thinks they're the greatest man/woman alive, children hate their parents, covetous, unthankful, unholy (2006-ish - Now)
The Youth isn't rebellious, most people I know including pretty much every member on this site don't rebel against their parents.
There are a select few, more distasteful members of society who go against the system, there will always be a select few like this.
Once again, the media has simply blown this out of proportion.
19. Men would mock the end times (2 Peter 3:4) People laugh or judge me for saying the end is sure to come due to the signs (2007 or so - Now)
I'm not judging you, or laughing at you.
Most people actually fear this information, even though it is false.
20. Jesus said; "Christians would be hated for His name's sake" (Matthew 24:9) I have people actually avoid Christian conversations and even make fun of me for it as well (2009 - Now)
Conversations about Religion lead to a conversation about Death, which is depressing, nobody wants to be depressed.
This has probably always been the case.
I see no reason to believe we are in the end times now than If I were alive 200 years ago.

So all of the paintings and portraits don't show Jesus then?

He's right, Jesus was never defined by the color of his skin in the Bible - we can only assume, and it's safe to assume because he spent his time in the middle east, he did not have white skin. He was a semetic and therefore, in all likelyhood, a darker skinned person with straight black hair.
