Well my friend bought a Xbox that had rrod asking me to fix it! He said it was never opened and they bought it new! He took it apart and cleaned out all the plug ins to see if that would fix the rrod! But it didn't!

When I go to his house to check it out I found out it was a Zypher with hdmi. But the problem was that the power brick wouldn't turn green, and the error code was 0001.

I looked around on YouTube for solutions, all I found was that you might need a new power cord, or replace 2 chips by the heat sink! But that wasn't specific enough!

So I was wondering if it just needed a reflow or a reball, or if I just needed to replace the thermal paste holding the heat sink and the motherboard together! Also I thought the Xbox was suppose to have 4 soft pads on the bottom of the motherboard, but there wasn't any! I asked my friend and he said there wasn't any when he opened! But when I looked there was old krusty white stuff on the bottom!

I just need solutions/ and or help! If you can let me know and I will rep whoever helps!
