Well, in case you didn't know, these are the 10 commandments. You know, the ones from the Bible? This guy is pointing them out so anyone who is interested can read them. Next time, atheist, if you don't understand the point of a post, you don't have to comment on it. Just ignore it.

Well if he has the right to post a topic supporting a religion, I have the right to reply to it expressing my absence of such. The rights are shared my friend.

I didn't say that you didn't have the right to do that. All I am saying is that if you don't understand what he is talking about, you didn't have to snarkily reply saying that you "didn't understand", and point out you are an atheist. Of course you wouldn't understand, because you are an atheist. It would be like me going to some guy who wears a turban, and me saying "Hey, I'm Christian. I don't understand the point of wearing a that thing on your head."
So that means people just dislike it because he is stating what he does not believe in? Com on, grow up. If we need to know these, or forgot, we are capable of finding them our self.

Well, yes. What is the point of going into a thread that is religious and pointing out that you don't "believe" in it? There's no point whatsoever, doing that just makes you a douche. Again, it would be like the turban example I already mentioned.

Well obviously I understand the point of the commandments, I understand religion, I used to be religious, I found flaws, and therefore now I reject it. But that isn't what we're talking about here, I said I didn't understand because I didn't understand the point of the post. To remind people of the commandments? If you are religious or care, you'd know them or would look them up. I know what I'm talking about, I don't think you know what I'm talking about, but it wouldn't be the first time soo.. don't feel too bad.

Well, if you read the beginning of the post, he clearly said and I quote:

GFXDeluxe wrote Just In Case You Don't Know Them.

We can assume that he was telling us them, in case we didn't know them. Which is good, as they are great values to live by. Oh, and as for your last comments, are you trying to imply that everyone that isn't religious "doesn't know what they're talking about"? If so, this just confirms my view that atheists look down on everyone that is religious. By the way, I have thought about atheism, but to be quite honest, I can't grasp how some people honestly think that there isn't a God, that there isn't a force that made things happen the way they are today. I know you, being the atheist, will point to evolution, the Big Bang, etc, but I don't see why they aren't tools that were used in creation.

I'm not going to hate on religious beliefs, but this is a pointless topic, one which the OP should have known would cause an argument.
This is the exact reason why people are weary of Religion.
Just by reading GFX's replies you can already sense the moral supremacy.
An atheist comes along and states, most people follow these rules anyway, and you jump on him?
I understand Establish that this is a religious post and so it doesn't make sense that an atheist would start hating on it, but this is how people install theocracies.

All in all, pointless topic lead to pointless argument.

That is true but GOD forgives if you mean it when you ask for forgiveness
