I can almost garuntee that the ps3 will be able to run windows xp maybe 7 with unsigned code. Definatley looks compatable with 2 GB or Ram. running an AMD processor. And Resembeling a x86 System. It looks to be twice as powerful as the xbox360. I think it should be able to run no problem. what do you guys think???

Sony is obviously never going to get that to work and with these supposed "always online" concepts being thrown around, if it ends up being always online, modding may never even happen.

Trust me, there has never been a console that hasnt been exploited. I promise you the PS4 will be exploited.

Those were offline though.
If you HAVE to be online at all times that just poses that many more problems.

First. i doubt it could ever be "always online", because that would be a great downfall to the users that dont use the internet. also, being "always online" could Definatly lead to an exploit, maybe even databases intruded.

From what they've said it seems like they're going the smart route and keep in out of it.
I hope.

That is probably never going to happen, just because they have their own opperating systems already, and sony has no reason to allow it.

There will likely be some kind of hack for Linux on the system, but Windows will not be on the PS4.
