im more of a Kramer guy, but anything Les Paul is nice.

Very nice choice, I would go with this one, it's sexy and of decent quality, especially for coming back to playing.

But in all seriousness depending on what you play. That's a pretty nice guitar for clasical kind of music, I personally like the les paul flying v looks awesome.
I'm fine with my 8 string thanks. That doesn't have enough.
