If you search 'minecraft let's play' on YouTube, you get 2.5 million results. You won't get any attention making more of them.
Hmm I wonder what you do with your spare time? Obviously something very interesting right?
This wasn't a comment on how you spend your time. I couldn't care less if you spend every waking minute staring at a wall, but you're posting in a section called "YouTube Famous" and I'm trying to give you advice. Making Minecraft let's plays will not make you YouTube Famous.
Ok so if you know so much what would you make?
I don't know so much, why are you attacking me? I did the simple thing, which was to look up how many Minecraft Let's Plays there are, and I discovered that there are 2.5 million of them. I can't tell you more than that. It's only some advice, no need to get so defensive.
So if it's pointless doing then why are so many people doing it? Not only are they doing it, they are also becoming famous by doing it! Can you not see the logic in that? By your logic it would be pointless to make any video in the first place because there are already so many videos on Youtube. I'm sorry if I sound defensive but you're wrong.
No, because you cannot do it yourself, I will explain my logic to you.
VERY, VERY few people are famous for playing video games on YouTube as a ratio to the number of people who try. One of the MOST over saturated categories on YouTube is Minecraft Let's Plays, there are, as I've said so many times, 2.5 MILLION of them. There are already established YouTube channels with hundreds of thousands of subscribers who make Minecraft Let's Plays, and each one of them covers a sub-category of Minecraft Let's Plays. There are humorous Minecraft Let's Plays, serious Minecraft Let's Plays, creative Minecraft Let's Plays, "I suck at this game" Minecraft Let's Plays, modded Minecraft Let's Plays, community oriented Minecraft Let's Plays, and even more. There are already people who fill all of these niches, and most of them are over full, it is obvious that if you want garner recognition, Minecraft Let's Plays are not the way to go.
I don't plan on my channel being completely about Minecraft, I want to be varied. At the moment I am new to uploading any kind of videos which is why I chose minecrft to be my first lot of uploads. They're almost like a test just to see whether I enjoy doing them and whether I can do them, I do enjoy doing them and I think I've been doing ok for my first let's plays
If you like making Minecraft videos because you think it's fun, then by all means, keep making them. I was just pointing out to you that you won't get famous from it, which is fine. The same can be said for any other popular video game.
Like I said I don't intend on making My youtube channel solely based around minecraft but my aim I guess my aim is to become successful but to enjoy making the videos at the same time
