There is Battlefield 4 so I don't think so unless GTA V is way better than BF4.

I think it will as people have been wanting this game for a long time now, longer than other game contenders for game of the year such as battlefield and even the new call of duty.

But in all fairness I believe the top games this year will go:

GTA V
Battlefield
Call of duty
Watchdogs
Assass Creed

hopefully call of duty won't be up there but the company will most likely brain wash people again into thinking that it will be even better than the previous one but after 2 weeks everyone realizes this is a bad game and then return to the previous years one. btw no hate on cod just voicing my opinion

Yes I think everyone knows this. But, if it turns out awful it will still be the most anticipated game.

It has the potential to be. With the amount of time and effort rockstar seem to be putting into it, it should definitely be up there.
