This is not exactly the case, when provoked Americans are a very angry people(look at shock and awe)There would definitely be a rage induced conflict but nuclear weapons are out of the question. I know Tpayne, that you are a respectable and mature member but when it comes to the childish population of TTG filling these threads with hopes of mutually assured destruction they need to be educated so I'll take this chance to best explain why nuclear war is a horrible idea. In the situation right now North Korea is a wild card and no one knows whether they care for the damage that is brought upon by a nuclear weapon. The states on the other hand will almost never use a nuclear weapon, the environmental and collateral implications are near endless and in a democratic country no one with a logical thought path would let this happen. My message to the people that wish the bully that's smaller than everyone should get a nuke is that you are obviously not mature enough or have the perception skills to comment on a situation that is taking place on the world stage.

I Dont think NK noticed but the United States is the Most POWERFUL military force in the history of Man Kind so they think that if they start a war the would win but they wont get destroyed but then the UN comes into this sending troops to aid the us if they also get attacked. So NK chances of winning the war is very slim. But if they do invade they will need Suprise.

And I understand 100% where you are coming from. But thats also my point. We are too democratic to stand up for ourselves. If we got hit with a missile, would we attack back? Probably not. Look at it this way (this is going to be really cheesy). Say this is a dog kenel. We are the Great Dane and NK is a Yorkie. The Yorkie keeps barking and knippin at the great danes feet. Its getting us agitated. Does the Great Dane just sit there or does he give a nice big bark and growl to sit the yorkie back in its spot? Once this happens the yorkie is thinking "oh crap, hes bigger and more powerful than i am. I think I am going to leave him alone for now". Im not saying we go and nuke them off the map. But show them that if they really want to start something they are going to have problems. (mostly from other countries).

South Korea is our ally... We lost 50k lives defending their country from the North Koreans before.

North Korea is going to get beat if there is a war. They don't have many allies. We have hundreds. Just the thought of North Korea to try to do this is sick. I think that they should just say that they lost already.
