Wouldn't that put the kd at negative?

No, actualy, they don't.

People donate via paypal, leave there GT in notes, and get invited. No need for people to know their GT's.

Yes. My friend is ranked 66th in the world for kills (TTGHOMER). HE has 90M kills and 16k deaths. His K/D is -0.91.
