I recently downloaded core temp and I have found out my laptop has been getting up to 95 Degrees Celsius when running Arma 2 OA (idle is about 50 degrees). I know this is very hot and I was wondering if anyone could help, I have already bought a cooling stand but its not doing much. (also im not that experienced with computers, so please dont give too complicated advice )

Laptops that are not designed to handle the heat generated by demanding games will have high temps under load. Arma II is a demanding game and those temps are likely normal. There's not much you can do except make sure it's getting a lot of airflow and increase the fan speed if you can.

You can increase the fan speed or use it on a desktop. Laptops are not meant for gaming unless you built it yourself. If you built it yourself you wouldn't be asking this question. So, I would suggest buying a desktop next time ;)

You can build a laptop and a computer, just laptops are harder to build i presume.

OT: Sell your laptop and build/buy a decent gaming computer, you can pick up a cheap second hand one that's good quality.

You can build a laptop by buying the parts for one individually. Laptop parts are not universal like ATX desktop parts. You can upgrade the RAM, hard drive, Wifi card, and often the CPU because they are universal and you can often upgrade the screen, battery, GPU, motherboard, and other things by using parts from other models in a line. For instance, I could upgrade the screen on my Thinkpad T500 to a 1920x1200 panel because there is a model in the line (W500) that has that display as an option. I would need a new inverter as well.
