I bought a fairly basic computer and I need to do upgrades to it MAINLY the processor, a decent graphics card, possibly a wireless card, and some ram. The computer was custom built a while back and has a 40 GB hard drive, 2 GB RAM, intel pentium 4 processor 2.8 GHZ, and a Raedon Pro 9800 graphics card. I have around a $400 dollar budget so help me out please.
Thanks guys you rock!

That motherboard is way too old it wont even support a core2 duo/quad(and there pretty much outdated now)

any modern mid range graphics card will be bottle necked by the CPU

If you want a modern gaming machine your gonna have to start from scratch

You've wasted your money on that, Processor is coming up 10 years old, Graphics card is a few years old, 2gb of RAM is more or less useless. 40gb HDD will barely fit windows on it.
The only thing worth keeping is the case and optical drive

There is no real point of upgrading it. Might as well save your money and get a new PC!
