I've purchased Arma II combined ops on steam after downloading both i downloaded dayz but when i try to join any server it gets stuck at a "wait for host" screen please help i haven't got to play a game I payed for.....

This happens all the time, Try joining a few other servers, If it persists Redownload the games and reinstall DayZ

Yea I've had a similar problem and if the redownload didnt work I would disconnect my Internet and reconnect it.

Have you run both games before installing DayZ?
