Well...

That's the general overview, however, Catholicism invokes paganism, so it really isn't truly Christian any more.
They also believe that the Pope is God incarnate, which, according to Christianity is idolatry and they have written extra books that lead on from the Bible, which they consider equally divine.
Overall, Christians follow God and Jesus, Catholics follow the Pope.

I wouldn't consider them to be the same Religion any more, that's just my opinion though.

I Do not believe any religion i just believe there is some sort of creator.
