The Blue Snowball mic is supposed to be pretty good, and its only $60!

i know it sounds like it won't be but the rockband usb mic is actually crystal clear audio and if you don't have it, it's about $15-$20

If you were to spend $120 you would get amazing results;

Blue Yeti - [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Those 2 microphones are absolutely amazing. OpTiC H3CZ uses the Auto Technica AT2020 on his videos, so check out some of his commentaries and you will get a good sound quality test.
