My brother has give me his iPhone but he dose not remember the password because its a old phone, is there anyway to unlock it in any sort of way?

Try iTunes you could restore it to factory default's, but this would delete everything off of it.

Plug it into your computer via USB, open iTunes, go to your iPhone tab, then click restore

plug in your iphone into your computer via sync cable. next wait for your phone to show up over on the left hand side, once you see it click on it and there should be in the middle an option to search for an update or restore your phone, once you click the restore it will do everything on its own and ta-da you have a new iphone
