Hi, Im new to these forums so please tell me if I have posted in the wrong forum etc...
I'm looking to build or have built a 'gaming' pc, that I will mainly use for Internet and my Workload i.e using Microsoft Word
The one thing that i am going to say is that I would like the case to be a Bitfenix Prodigy in white, to resemble the design of the Mac Pro.
My budget is 400 or under. I just want something that will be speedy enough, so that there is no lag when having multiple windows in the browser, or in work-related applications and also look good (i.e components). I may in the future upgrade.
Also, I will be using Windows 8 if that helps, and it will be my first build.

Idk if you wanted the case included with the $400 and I don't know if you need a dvd burner so I didn't include it.
Motherboard - Asrock h77 mini itx - $95

This psu leaves room to upgrade to a gpu if you ever need too.

This system is just over 400 including the case price. I have chosen you a AMD APU witch will give fab output processing and graphic wise, ever want to venture into gaming this may help to. It is also cheep where can you go wrong?
Cut down to 4GB ram as you wont need 8GB.
Semi-Modular PSU as you have such a small case this will help with cable management and air flow.
I also went with a 320GB HDD as for what you are doing it should be more than enough if you start to run out later, it is a cheep and easy thing to add.

AirMaxKing, you grossely overestimate the graphics capability of an APU. Though they may seem perfect for low budget builds, they are better fit for $300 or below builds. Their best usage is in standard home-use desktops, not so much in builds oriented towards gaming.
The Bitfenix prodigy isn't a good option for this kind of build. Believe me when I say it, the Prodigy is best used in an extreme mini gaming PC build. Such a build generally costs around $1000. For $400 I'd recommend getting the best bang for your buck (or at any budget for that matter), which is this build I have here, it's about $10 over your budget but I got in the bells and whistles that I find a requirement, such as a 1TB HDD and an independent GPU.
