Although that is a VERY nice build, I still have to have money left over for a mouse, keyboard, and monitor. And is the i5 3570k better than say a i7 3770k or a i7 3820?

you want a processor with a "k" that means it is unlocked and you can overclock it, the 3570k has 4 cores no hyperthreading while the 3770k has 4 core plus 4 threads so windows recognizes it as a 8 core processor

I was going to put you a build together until I gave this one the once over, it is a vey nice build he has offered...

Maybe an Antec PSU though?
Samsung 128GB SSD instead?
Drop to 2TB as you are probably never gonna use 4TB!?
Razer Mouse meh, coulda got better for cheaper.

PSU, nothing. Antec are just a better build quality in my opinion
