I was looking at some random stuff and came across lucid dreaming. I got curious if anyone on here knows anything about it!
Such as
-how to do it
-thoughts about it
-your experiences with it
I also read that you can have "out-of-body" experiences
and even control the dreams of others
I found it fascinating and I want to try it but it seems a bit sketchy.
(btw, I do realize this is not new)

Very interesting topic.

How can you control something that is not real though? If you were to realise you were dreaming surely you would be awake by that point. It's makes no sense.

This took me a while to even be able to remember my dreams. And even longer to actually stay lucid while i was dreaming. So take your time and don't give up because it may take you months to even be able to do it.
You can lucid dream, it's not a myth it just takes time.

First you want to remember your dreams(so your lucid dreams become vivid and so have more chances per night at becoming lucid.)
Second you can't to do reality checks during your waking hours(look at your watch, most effective for me was asking myself if I was dreaming and really making sure I wasn't.)
Third realizing your dreaming while dreaming this was hard for me because every time I would become lucid I would Instantly get excited and my heart rate would increase and I would wake myself up. So keep calm and when your first become lucid try and do easy things(jumping really high, changing color of the grass ect).
I'd go into more detail but I'd end up writing a book lmao
