As for lifeforms in general, I think we've only scratched the surface and there could be some very scary things waiting to be discovered.
The bottom is untouched, unraveled and not humanly 'overwritten'.

Life therefore, is untouched.
The most dark, big, scary creatures can easily evolve and adapt there.

Probably just more undiscovered species of aquatic life. No idea though, could be anything really.
