So i need help! I need a way to connect to xbox live, my mom is getting mad because i have a internet cord running from downstairs to my room(which is upstairs).

Why dont you connect wireless with a router or modem?

You can buy the wireless adapter for the Xbox or see if you can get a wireless router in your room to connect to your IP and then use the Ethernet cable and connect it to the router.

You need to buy a wireless adapter.
Or if you have a computer that you own you can bridge the connection from the PC wireless adapter to the Xbox.
