Hey guys,
Basically i have a jailbroken iPhone 4 which is on 5.0.1 and im wanting to update it the latest update which is jailbreakable so that's 6.1.2,
i've downloaded the 6.1.2 firmware and have tried shift+alt updating/restoring in itunes but it keeps returning the 3194 error and wont allow me to update,
how can i do it so i can update to 6.1.2 then jailbreak it?
i've backed all my stuff up so am able to restore or whatever,
any help is appreciated thankyou..

Well unless you have you 6.1.2 SHSH blobs saved than there is no way for you to get to 6.1.2

You keep getting error 3194 because apple is no longer signing that firmware. If you want a untethered jailbreak stay on 5.0.1.

If you wan't you can update it to 6.1.3 and have a tethered jailbreak.
