Another idea: Make a challenge. Say your only allowed to use the most basic of armor and weapons, play on the hardest difficulty, and have to complete every quest available to you in the game while collecting all rare items. Limit what you can do, maybe you can't use any armor or weapon that can be tempered? Or maybe you can't use any weapon at all, fists only.

Play Oblivion, it is better in my opinion and it's something new to play if you haven't played it. The gameplay is not as good as Skyrim's though.

That is why i suggest Skyrim for the computer because people never stop making new content like Bethesda did.

When i got bored of skyrim I looked at my gameplay. I used to play on apprentice and run in with my heavy armor and sword and just button mash my way through. Now I created two characters, a "pure" sneak and archery character (archery, pick pocketing, lockpicking, etc), and a "battle mage" (heavy armor, destruction, one handed, Illusion etc.)

When I get bored with one I simply switch to my other one. It keeps things fresh and progresses their story line little by little.

Another tip I have is to not only focus on quests. I love exploring caves, killing bandits, journeying where i havent gone before, and killing dragons. The quests can seem repetitive and over-used, so dont be afraid to just wander around and get your skills up.
