A HDMI cable is a HDMI cable, regardless.
Yes, you could buy longer ones. Those'll cost more. but I'm pretty sure I bought my 5ft one for like $3.

I have a $139 AUD 2m HDMI cable, it does make a lot of difference when using 3D other than that it's only slightly better than a normal HDMI.

Do not buy Monster Cables. They're a rip-off, and a $5 Amazon HDMI cable will have the exact same quality as the Monster Cables will.

Nope I buy mine on eBay for $4 and they work as good as a $30 Belkin one you would buy in stores.

Just buy any one. I bought mine off of eBay for $3 and it works fine, the length is pretty good too.

In my opinion they all do the same thing. For example a regular t-shirt would cost 10 to 20 bucks, add the hollister logo and it goes to 30-50 bucks.

You could get any cheap HDMI cord that would be the same as any other, the only time you would have a problem with those is if you didn't take care of the cord.
Just go to your local Walmart and get a regular one.
