Or together. When one sense leads to another sense involuntary. There are many forms of synesthesia, like seeing sounds, tasting shapes or hearing colors. Its said to be a neurological condition. Researchers say it lets us know more about our brain and if colors, or other senses, really exist. As you can probably already tell by the title, this post will be about hearing colors, a form of synesthesia. I am only going to do a small explanation on what it is. There are people, including I who have have, you can say the ability, to hear colors. These people are called synesthetes. When said person hear a letter, word or a number, there is a neural short-circuit that allows them to perceive it with another sense. Say the person is give the word plane. They may see it as brown or even green. They can also have different colors for each letter in the alphabet. Here is an example on how one might see it.
