ok so i got a frind to rgh my xbox, there was a 20gb har drive in it, iv just found a 60gb hard drive lying around and was wondering how i could replace it.
Do i have to copy all files off the HD i have in now onto the new one?
Do i have to install anything onto it?
please help me out.

insert usb, go to storage, select hard drive, hit Y, select copy, select your usb drive, copy your data to the usb...turn off xbox, insert new hard drive, go to storage, select new hard drive, hit Y, copy data to new hard drive.
