So I applied at Champs Sports at like 3 pm today and got a call from the general manager about 20 min ago and he wants to setup a job intrview on friday at 4 pm. My aunt happens to know the guy and their families are close but she's in another state. I got some advice from her and he had contacted her and she had put in a good word. (Side note: My cousin, Same aunts son, is graduating next month and we are all flying out to the graduation and so are his family friends and such and the same guy is going so it might be a little awkward if either my future boss is there or got turned down by him and see him there, lol)

But I was wondering if anyone had every worked or work at Champs if they have any tips on the job or interview help, yes this is my first interview.

-Thanks

Well since its your first interview just be yourself, ask questions because that shows that you're interested in the job. It may also help by saying what you want to do in life, what your studying in school etc

Stay confident and don't get nervous, because you won't be able to answer his questions effectivley. Also, don't rush your answers even if you have to think it through.

1. When your in the interview and the Boss interviews you, 'Shake his hand and look in his eye'.

2. Be positive

3. Sit up straight

4. Show some qualifications so he can be interested what he has seen.

5. Ask questions

6. Dress smart

Simple things like that really.

Manners.
Confidence.
Honesty.

Make sure you dress appropriate, don't over dress. Don't dress like a bum either.

Good luck!
