You do know MIA means Missing In Action. In Military it means he was lost at war, he could be alive, or he could be dead.

Exactly that's why he said that. If it said KIA then that would confirm that he's dead.

No, he was actually shot in the shoulder and if you replay the mission none of the gasoline was poured on him and he was wearing the flame proof vest so if the gasoline wasn't on him so the flames wouldn't have gotten him that bad and like I said he was wearing a flame proof vest.

I think he's dead. He was shot in the head, and set on fire (regardless of his fire-proof vest or whatever, his head, arms and legs would still burn). I think this game will be a prequel, if anyone has looked up Ghost on the Call of Duty wiki, it explains what happened prior to General Sheppard asking him to join Task Force 141. I think this game will see you play as Ghost before joining TF141.

Call of duty wiki says that he died on August 15th 2016. So yes he is dead. But the new game "Ghosts" may be set before that.
