My Review

For 400msp, it is absolutely worth it. You can build, create, customise and upgrade your house. It is very enjoyable.

Id rate it 10/10
What do you rate this DLC?

Bugs (Some/all may have been patched)

Dialogue may not show up to purchase land in The Pale.

Dialogue may not show up to purchase land in Falkreath.

Possible massive system freeze in the Falkreath and Morthal house.

Stewards may not actually furnish rooms when paid to.

Stewards may tell you that you don't have enough gold when you attempt to furnish rooms, even when you do.

When placing items in rooms, sometimes items that you've already created appear available on the workbench, and you can attempt to remake them (taking resources to do so), but will get nothing new.
Hiring a bard doesn't always bring the bard to your residence.

Followers may abruptly leave your service when appointing a steward.

Your stewards, housecarls, companions and children may all find it's better to sleep in your master bed, leaving your spouse to sleep in the kids room.

After purchasing the main hall in Falkreath Hold the left wall may disappear upon entering, allowing you to fall out of the world. After reloading the area the wall returns with everything on it.

After downloading Hearthfire you may get a greatly increased rate of frost dragon attacks.

After downloading Hearthfire a barrel under the stairs in Proudspire will be missing.

Even if you have a Pickaxe in your inventory you may be unable to interact with the stone quarry or clay pit.

You many not be able to adopt children after failing to to have a room for them the first time.

Best Source of Iron

For building houses, you need a lot of iron for Fittings, Hinges, and Nails. So I think this way is the easiest.

1: Go to Whiterun
2: Go to the Smithy on the right
3: Talk to the women and invest in her business (Speech Required) (Optional)
4: Buy all the Iron Ingots and Iron ore from her inventory
5: Go inside the shop (Warmaidens I think)
6: Talk to the man and buy all his Iron Ignots and Iron Ore.
7: Press wait and select 24 hours.
8: Immediately after pressing A, press the xbox guide button (It will speed up the wait)
9: Do the same again for 24 hours.
10: And again once more.
Repeat the above.
