For those lazy to find all the specs:
General:
Intel CoreTM i7-3630QM Quad Core Processor (6M Cache, 2.40GHz - 3.40 GHz) 45W
Windows 8 x64 bit
Optical Drive: Blu-Ray Player SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW Dual Layer
RAM: 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz
Hard Drive: 750GB 7200rpm
3GB NVIDIA GTX 670MX GDDR5
Ports & Inputs:
- HDMI, VGA
- Microphone input
- Headphone output
- 4 x USB 3.0 ports
- Rj-45 LAN Port
- 3-in-1 Media Card Reader
- 1 x Thunderbolt
Pretty sure it is 3D also, some other models I looked at were (and came with glasses), but also didn't list it in the specs :S
Anyway, been considering this one for a while, I would likely install a decent SSD, and maybe downgrade to win 7 ultimate (would have a little play around with win8 to decide if i hate it like everyone else first)
This laptop would mainly be used for Audio production (FL Studio), a little bit of gaming on the side
Thoughts on it? And if any of you have high knowledge on laptops/computers for producing and sound engineering, how do you think this would cope with a DAW running a tonne of plugins and effects etc etc

I travel alot, and produce on the go, that was a bit of a silly reply, but I suppose I should have put WHY i am getting a laptop in the original post, I thought it was obvious..
Most inspiration comes when you are not in a similar setting, I like sitting on the bus or train and making a tune, and music production laptops NEED to be powerful

Sadly laptops always end up being around double the cost for the same specs if they were in a desktop might cost less if i custom built it, but cba doing all that, also i like the design of the G75 series

they both took me to a page where i had to enter US zip code and i live in the UK not US
But i looked it up as it said make and model in the URL
things i can say are quite clearly not the same specs:
8 gig ram (half)
5200 rpm
extremely worse graphics card
not as many ports/inputs
smaller screen
worse resolution
no bluray
no 3d
so yea, very different to the G75, lol.
Still a nice laptop, but pretty much half as good

More like more than half the price, for half the specs, design is a bit boring too, in my opinion
the g75 is also upgradable
That's not the point, I was just listing things it didn't have
You did say it was 'exact same specs'
