The longest I have stayed awake is around 36 hours and that was near impossible. Is that condition hereditary or can you develop it?

Actually the longest time without air is around 16 minutes, if I remember right. David Blaine did it, watch it on Youtube.

Nope you cant develop it its in your genes if you have it or not but consider yourself lucky since only 100 people have it.

Yes you can develop Insomnia. I developed it at 14. I don't have Fatal Familial Insomnia as IiBuzzShot mentioned but I do have bad Insomnia. Most of the time Insomnia develops from Anxiety, Stress, and Medical conditions(There are other ways it develops these are just the ones I could think of off the top of my head)

Breath in and out quite intense without hyperventilating then go jump in a lake and stay under until you feel like your head os going to implode its al about the oxygen levels in your body at the time and practise but i would say it takes years to do 16 minutes thats insane.

That sounds horrible man!! Is your insomnia sever, how many nights do you sleep a week?

Youtube ffi and theres a documentary about a man who allowed scientist to research on him while he has it its interesting but also quite disturbing.
