It is argued that buildings can get to any height, however there is one limiting factor I can think of and thats space> Obviously you can't build into space because of oxygen but is there any other factors that limits the height of buildings?

The building would be u stable due to zero gravity and the height but also the centre of mass would have to be on the perfect point aboce the geostationary orbit which could be quite hard to get right.

So buildings into to space is out of the question in this lifetime. But how high can they get, under the edge of our atmosphere atmosphere?
