Its not necessarily down to your internet.

Cheap servers on the hosts end, connection problems down the line, faults on the network, all sorts.

What makes me laugh is Virgin Media in the UK:

"Bye bye to buffering" and then later on an apparent 2x speed boost.

Still buffers lol
