its jailbroken and it has a error every way i try to do it i tried to restore and to update.

What is the error message and what firmware are you trying to restore it too?

Get the right Restore point for your IOS Device and then downgrade to IOS 6 or 5.5 and then restore to IOS 6.1.3. Worked for me.

Hows he going to put ios 6 or below on it?...
Put your phone in DFU (tut in the link below), then when you go to restore in itunes, hold shift when you click restore. This will download a brand new fresh copy of ios rather than one that may be cached on your PC.

Have you ever messed with the hosts file that tells apple where to connect to when it verifies the restore?
