Hello TTG! I have discovered a program that will let you record your desktop and games! I find this better than all the programs I have tried. Dxtory, FRAPS, Bandicam, MSI, etc.

It has a lot of settings to set to your comfort zone!

My Specs:

PC Specs: (In video but here as well)
AMD E-300 APU with Radeon HD graphics. 1.30 GHz
4 GB of RAM
AMD Radeon HD 6130 Graphics Card

You can choose either if you want to record games, desktop, or a certain region on your screen.
You can choose what size you want it to be.
you can pick either AVI, or MP4. MP4 records in 480p.
You can use Multi-Channel Recording
You can record Only audio just like audacity
You can Benchmark
You can take screenshots
There are also A LOT of settings to go through!
You can record Mic, and game audio in separate sound tracks.
You can record your webcam as well!

If this helped. Maybe hit the like button and subscribe

DxTory is the best . You don't lose much fps when recording.

I agree i use dxtory and still average good fps.

If you sill experience fps drop with dxtory try the lagarith codec
^that codec doesnt drop fps plus has good quality but you only need over 30 fps if you are recording in slow motion.

to find a tutorial on setting it up go to youtube and type jackfrags dxtory

Interesting thread right here.

I'm going to check this out. I usually use fraps, but the file sizes are just so large, and seeing as I have it record onto the same HDD as I'm playing on, I usually lose a few FPS.

Thanks!

I also use Fraps and I get about 80 FPS while recording. I have an AMD Phenom II x4 @ 3.6GHz, 8GB Ram and an nVidia GeForce 560Ti

About 7-9 minutes of recording is a GB. As of FRAPS, it is like 1 minute a GB

Yes. I have tried Dxtory but I get more FPS loss than FRPAS.
I have a alright hard drive. When I benchmark it on there to set the mb/s it gets upt to 130
I just can't record with Dxtory. I have tried MANY codecs. None worked.
