it could be that your fan doesnt work that well, where and who did you buy it from and give me exactly whats going on, another thing that can be happening is that you might have bricked it, but dont worry, just let me know whats going on...

i bought it off a guy on gumtree (free ads website) so im not actually sure who originally RGH'd the console

im sure i haven't bricked it because it was working fine in the morning i switched it off unplugged it from the wall came back later on at night and it wont work

the exact problem

it will not boot at all (the power light will light the center of the ROL but the spiral of the lights around the outside of the ROL wont go on)
however i can still sync a controller to the console but as soon as it syncs the controller's ROL will flash (all four lights just like it would if the console was unplugged)

the coolrunner just has a single red light on at all times when the console is plugged in and if i boot the console the light will stay red and no green flashing light (apperntly shows that its glitching)

the fans work fine but if you want me to try it i have another jasper that i could swap the fans to see if that could be the issue

ill try using my other jaspers fan and will post with the outcome

Edit - i tried plugging in the other fan from my other jasper into the console and it gave me 3 red lights (the fan didn't even go on), but then i plugged the original fan back in and it gets no red rings and still doesn't boot. the fan works in my other xbox fine and no red lights on that either. is their a certain way i have to replace it bearing in mind the fan is from a retail jasper

Any ideas ?
