I wouldn't bother with master codes. I often can't find them.
The best thing you can do is open the laptop and pop off the battery. Not the main battery, but there is usually a battery that looks like a watch battery. It is flat and circular. Remove it. Wait 5 mins. Put it back on. Your laptop is going to do important stuff, so make sure you have no interruptions.
If you're not sure what i'm talking about, do some serious research because you can realy F up.

A lot of websites will tell you to remove the cmos battery, or short two jumpers on the motherboard..
None of this will work on modern laptops to remove the bios password, and trying to short the jumpers on the motherboard can ruin the computer permanently..
There is only one safe way to proceed.. And if your within the one year warranty, it should be free. Or low cost otherwise..
Contact Samsung at the number below
1800-SAMSUNG
You need to be specific in what you tell them..
Tell them you own the computer, And that It suddenly has a bios password XXXXX
And you need them to reset it with their challenge code ..
The first person you talk to is just a screener. if they tell you it cant be done, or if they dont know what your talking about ..
Ask to speak to their supervisor.. And keep asking till you get someone who knows what im talking about..
OInce you get someone at the tech support site who has the code, it shouldnt take more then three minutes to unlock it..
also u can try a bios boot disc/usb

I'm curious about that. I understand laptop tech is different, but prevents taking off the CMOS battery?
Oftentime software solutions are either incomplete, outdated, or messy, leaving registry keys everywhere.
This is why I dislike dealing with laptops. There's no patchwork, you just send it in and get a new one.

you can always clean a registry and i have not had any issues in the past with incomplete software solutions thats why you are suppose to do a little research before making changes to Bios/Hardware controllers.
though if i think i can just send in a used laptop and have a new one sent i would always take that offer :p

Unless it is like a iBuyPower or Razer laptop. They are easier to work with.
