I always wanted one and now I believe I have the chance to get one because of this site. A friend said that if I buy one around this time it will not work for Black Ops. Is that true? If so, does anyone know when JTAG's for Black Op's will be realeased?

Well we can't really predict if we can or not. Jtags weren't specially made for Call of duty. They were made to do tons more then host lobby's. If you are going to use your jtag for more then just hosting lobby's I would buy one if I were you.

Wait until black ops is out for like a week or two because it might be a different kind of jtag. Unless you know how to transfer all the programs to your jtag already

This would be my first JTAG sooo no idea how to transfer anything. If it works that would be great and it would probably be a challenge to get to a working state but I believe I will mainly use it for hosting lobbies.

they should work for black ops i dont think jtags are patchable
