Like I said, most of time it works, but sometimes it doesn't. You have to make sure he isn't in a party with anyone else, make sure he kills himself enough times for it to say 0xp needed at the bottom of the screen when you press start, make sure he is host when he backs out, and make sure he does the prestige steps (I can't remember if it was supposed to be done quickly or slowly).
