Yea so my cydia crashed a couple of weeks back and i tried looking on help vids and none of the were helpful.

They say:

"Use iFile" <- U need cydia to download iFile u **** mong =)
"Re-jailbreak" <- Doesnt work + i upgraded itunes to 4.0 which cannot b jailbroken atm (i think).
"Restore then re-jailbreak" <-- I have over 1000 songs and 40s worth of apps. NO

Its basically wen i try and open cydia it opens but just as a black screen with a grey-ish bar at the bottom and then closes itself and goes back to the normal screen after about 4 seconds. Im seriously at a loss

I use spirit to jailbreak it.

if you are on firmware 4.0 then go into i tunes back up your device, then disconnect and on your ipod go to safari, then, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

follow the on screen instructions, and you'll be jailbroken again, with all your music and apps

um reboot up ur ipod again if not restore and jailbreak again!

u cant back it up without installing 4.1 -.- but thats doing it now so its 2 late..

backing up is just a precaution. i didnt back it up , and mine is fine
