How much, in total, does it cost to get all the different parts that would run games like Battlefield 3 on ultra at a very good frame rate (if possible to know, what would the pc run it at?)? Excluding price for monitor and keyboard.

Assuming that the resolution of the monitor you're playing BF3 on ultra settings is at 1080p, you could probably get it done for around $1,000 - $1,200. Intel i5-3570k / GTX 670 would be your base components and you'd build everything around that.
