is there a way to remove the JTAG from a xbox 360 console

Yes there is, I don't believe you can without destroying the motherboard though.

No you can remove it just fine without damaging anything..? All you need to do is desolder the diodes and wiring and flash the stock nand back on. You might be thinking how when you update it to the most current dashboard the fuses will be burnt making it impossible to jtag ever again.

I was assuming taking the wiring out of the motherboard would damage it in some way, thanks for the clarification I know more about RGH consoles.
