in xexmenu 1.2 if i have tu6 and tu7 and i put both of the title updates in cache will i be able to play both tu6 and tu7

It depends. Tu6 usually run patch_mp.ff modded files, but tu7/8 run .dlls so you should consider downloading fsd, with that you can pick which tu is your primary
