After you have gifted 25 people and got the golf gifter badge it should only cost you like $2 to gift someone ?? i think this would be a good idea myself but yeh

Sounds like a great idea, there are plenty of gold members, it's not like they would actually be losing much money, considering so few people have that badge.

I think there is a possibility of it happening, just maybe only with the gold gifter + badge. Try putting it in the site enhancements and feedback forum.
