There are many people saying stuff about the Xbox one, that don't make sense. For example, "The xbox one sucks you need a kinect for it to work." Well the Kinect comes with the console, you're not paying any extra. Then people say, " Oh but the Kinect might break!!!" If your kinect breaks I would be surprised that your Xbox One hasn't yet, just treat it like you would your console and it won't break. Another thing people say, "OMG, the xbox is all about TV and Skype, so shit I don't want to buy a console to watch tv." Well, it's not like they removed the gaming function altogether, there are many things on the xbox 360 that are there, but I don't use them. Why not the same for the tv function of the xbox one. Just don't use it, and you'll be fine. Just a side note here, couldn't you technically plug in your old xbox 360 into the hdmi in port of the xbox one? and just play it that way...
