Thanks i saw Mint a while ago i thought it looked really nice. Is it as simple as burning an ISO and installing? Also does it have a bootloader so i dont have to select which drive to boot to?


Yes you can burn the ISO to a blank DVD, the ISO is only about 960MB, and compared to Windows it's tiny. You can also use it as a LinuxLive drive key, which is basically your OS portable on a USB drive. Give it a Google, you'll learn some interesting things. Best of luck.

Tried booting from the disc to try it out before installing and it doesn't work at all even though i've burnt multiple discs and used the tool that boots in windows to allow it to load on boot.
