It seems lately that the Department of Homeland Security is gearing up for a large scale civil unrest. It's recent purchases are a little odd. Here is a list of purchases that I find odd:

1. 2,000,000,000 Rounds of Hollow Point Ammunition
2.+7,000 M4 Carbine Rifles
3. 2,700 MRAPS (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected Fighting Vehicle)
4. $2,000,000 contract with a company that was caught selling targets of pregnant women, children, and elderly people.

Now let's break this down a little more.

1. Hollow Points:

While the Department of Homeland Security claimed the hollow points were being used for training mostly, this is questionable. Hollow Points are designed to "mushroom" on impact, creating a greater wound. Hollow Points are commonly more expensive as well. Although with the amount purchased, price wouldn't be an issue. But then the question of why so much? In the peak of the Iraq War, or when there was the most combat, US troops were firing 5.5 Million rounds per month. So, at this rate, the DHS could wage a 24 year long war.

2. 7,000 M4 Carbine Rifles:

This isn't really an odd number to buy, but it is a little suspicious since DHS has had 11 years to purchase weapons.

3. 2,700 MRAP's:

Not only the number strikes me as odd, but the vehicle themselves. These vehicles were designed to be able to withstand IED blasts and RPG's, while most other SWAT vehicles are strictly APC's or bullet-proof. Why these are needed on American streets beats me. But now to the number, 2,700 is a little much. Especially given the number of major US cities. With only around 200 major US cities, that is enough for 12-13 per city. Now when was the last time they needed that many? Oh, when they practically declared martial law on Boston and locked down the city.

If you ask me, these purchases are not only odd, but the timing as well. Many top economists are saying that the economy is preparing for a 90% correction, which could be very bad. Could the DHS be preparing for civil unrest after an economic collapse? A civil war? What you take of this is up to you, but don't just brush this off. THINK.

This is not the first time the Homeland Security has bought stuff with the same numbers as these...

It could be used for training courses ranging over multiple years...

Alex Jones more than likely brought it up, due to the gun rights hoopla and how the NWO is becoming a big topic in many people's conversations.

I say, don't worry about it...
